  2. Congrats on 50 followers!!! I am a follower and my favorite thing I have made in the last year is the ceiling in my bedroom and bathroom. I stained pine boards with a blue stain and then wiped it off so the grain showed thru. I LOVE it!!

  3. Congrats on your blog milestone - I know you'll have many more followers sign up as time goes on. My favorite thing I have made is a quilt that I made for my daughter last summer - I actually did an entire room makeover for her with the quilt as the inspiration and centerpiece for everything - it was so much fun!

Congrats on 50 followers!!! I'd love to be entered in your give-away.
My favorite thing would have to be one of my hooked rugs...not sure which one. Or maybe it's one of the reproduction samplers I stitched 25+ years ago. Or maybe it's ...

  7. Congratulations to you on 50 followers! I've not been one for much needlework or crafts. Most of my "making" occurs in the kitchen, and I must say that my recent favorite is the wedding cake/groom's cake for our daughter and new son-in-law this past March. While the cake is long gone, the pictures remain forever as a reminder.

I enjoy being a follower of your blog.

  8. Something I have made. As a young teen, I totally refinished my grandmothers rocking chair. She used to sit on her porch in the cool of summers evenings. Once I finished it, she move it indoors. I think she really liked it. I now have it. Very cool.

  10. Hi Jody, congrats on the 50 followers! I am not really a great crafter but I love to look at what other people make. I try but things just don't turn out. I did make a pretty good stitchery for a friend for her birthday so I will say that is it.
I would love to be entered in your giveaway. I will post it on my sidebar too.
Have a great rest of the week. SOunds like we are going back to the heat and humidity again, oh joy! At least not as hot as last week!
    Be blessed,

  13. How sweet. My favorite thing is my son's baby quilt. I designed it all and made it from design to bind. It had a green tractor on a field of different browns and a sun in the sky. I still think it's amazing. Love your blog and what a cool give-away.

  15. My favorite thing was an egg basket but I did not keep it and have regretted it! It was one Christmas that we were scrapped for money and I had to have a gift for a secret pal so I made the basket and filled it with goodies.

  16. Hi Jody,
It is so exciting to have 50 followers! Congrats! What a nice give-away! OH gosh would love to win! When you get as old as I am it's hard to remember all the things you've made and then pick a favorite! LOL! Off the top of my head I'd say it's the circle rug that I tore all the strips by hand! It turned out so good sometimes it's hard to believe I made it!
    Hugs!!

  29. Hi Jody,

I found you through Cindi (Cindi's Country Corner). What a great giveaway. Congratulations on your new followers! It's exciting watching that number grow, isn't it? Yours will grow quickly!

My husband and I work along side by side on projects...he's more of the carpenter and I'm the finisher. :) My favorite thing so far is our red country stepback cupboard in the kitchen. I also love some of the ornaments I've made for my Christmas tree specifically the ones with the kids names and years on them too. Would love to make a quilt though! Your quilt was gorgeous!

I will add your giveaway to my sidebar with a link as well.

    Have a great weekend! :)

Second, your pets are darling, and next I like the home items you have posted. Good job! I too am a new blogger and will post your gadget on my blog. Let's see, the most favorite thing I have made is my quilts of course, but besides that, I love my kitchen table. It is carved and painted and was my parents first table more than 50 years ago. It is pictured in my first blog post if you want to take a peek! Looking forward to more posts from you!

  32. Hello Jody! Congratulations on your 50+ followers!
I would Love to be entered in your Giveaway.
My favorite thing I made was a pillow for my son, using some of his old baby clothes. This was about 10 years ago...and I used my basic sewing skills which weren't very good back then, and cut out squares of shirts, pants, etc... Needless to say after the years and countless washings, it began to fall apart. But it was my favorite project.
I added your giveaway to my sidebar with the link back.
    Have a wonderful Monday!

  33. Hi Jody - thanx for telling me about your giveaway! I apologise for being so slow on visiting as I'm trying to get back into a more settled normal routine after our vacation.
One of the best things I made was a large burlap Christmas tree on which I x stitched Santa and reindeer etc. Love it as Christmas is my fav. season to decorate.
I'll put a link on my sidebar for you - better late than never!
