meeting a blogging friend..

on Saturday i jumped in the car and traveled to Fargo,ND about a 1-1/2 hour drive and i went to the fiber arts festival. i knew that Stacey from on the prairie rugs was vending there! sooo fun to meet her and her very nice husband! it was like we were already friends and just chatted away! i had to have her send pic of her booth area cuz we chatted so much i forgot! they are such a nice couple and they met here in crookston MN when they were both in college. how cool is that? i think they are about a 3 hour drive from me, not sure tho. i think they need to come to the town they met and spend a night with me! I'm sure they will see some changes in our little town. Tracey had wonderful wool, patterns and was working on a rug while there. i do wish i could have gone back on Sunday and walked around a bit cuz once i ran in to her i didn't see anything else! she is on the north county fiber arts board and will be at the fiber fair in Water Town, SD in Sept. so maybe a road trip with my sister or the cobblers! ( i can hear the cobblers saying " yea right, jody ") i think its about a 4 hour drive from here... i did buy a pattern of hers and i stayed up til 1:30 am when i ran out of wool.. so thought id give ya a sneak peak! felt great to hook a bit into the wee hours of the night.

enjoy your day!                        jody

  5. Fibre Fest looks fun. But it is so much fun to meet bloggers in person. Its like we already know each other. I need to pick up my hook again, but not until it cools down a little.

  7. Hi Jody, we were so glad you got to come down for the fiber festival in Fargo! We appreciated the conversations we had and thanks so much for the soap! I didn't realize you didn't get to see much of the fiber festival - if you come to NCFF in Watertown, SD I will give you a personal tour of the whole thing. :)
