friday road trip...

sister Jana, Carol p and i kinda spur of the moment ... decided to drive to Fargo, ND ( 1 1/2 ) hours to the quilt show. we had a nice time, i got to visit with a couple vendor friends and we of course came away overwhelmed with lots of ideas and inspiration! click on the pictures to get a closer look!

Stacy from buttermilk basin and her husband were there...  great to visit with them! she is a wonderful gal with so much talent and energy! i told her she must of designed patterns in high school because i have some of her halloween patterns from years ago. here is her web site go check it out!

this is what i came home with from Stacy's booth... i loved her idea of the little mats. i can change the middle,  with the seasons. she had lots of great patterns for each month, its a nice size to mount on a larger bread board, hang on the wall, or what ever!

Emily from the red button was there, we loved going to her quilt shop Emily's cottage but now enjoy seeing her with her new pattern company. here is her web site....  http://www.redbuttonquiltco.com/
and bonnie from willow wood market...
http://www.willowwoodmarketdesigns.com/page/page/4237891.htm , bonnie has a out door harvest festival that's wonderful! we missed it last weekend but will try hard to get there next year!  we are fortunate to have these wonderful talented gals here in the north!
daughter Angie is out of town again this weekend so i am keeping her dogs company thru out the day... it gets to be to many at my house now as i have Sadie the beagle visiting this weekend too soo its a good thing Angie lives only 3 blocks away... this was morning coffee on her porch with a new magazine... of course Koa was on my lap and Oliver tried to get on my lap but....is getting a bit big, altho he sure doesnt think so!
enjoy your day my blogging friends and have a nice weekend!            jody
