Cobbler Get Together..

we got together early at Sister Janas to tie quilts for graduation, because Cobbler Beth was home for Easter! Always great to have our Cobbler from California home with us!

We always have lots of food, I think I will post recipes of the salads next post
Sister Jana made the pasta salad, Cobbler Carol P made the popcorn salad...
I made chicken salad croissants and Cobbler Pat brought deviled eggs.

We started with a quilt Jana made, for her sons girlfriend for graduation.
our cobbler favorite the star quilt by Country Threads..

Then one made by Auntie Pat and Auntie Mary will be finishing it
for Janas son AJ for his graduation.

Another one by Auntie Pat for a graduation gift..

Auntie Mary made this one for a graduation gift
adding a stitched block of the boys house he has grown up in..
we tried to get Sister Janas husband Steve to help but....

Auntie Pat showed us her finished Easter wall hanging..

Sister Jana got the quilt she made AJ back from the quilter..

Cousin Beth and Auntie Pat worked on this after the cobbler get together
and finished it. a T-shirt quilt for Pats Daughter in Law! it turned out Great!

Auntie Mary finished the night off with a dessert!
Yum! i think it was called a Dump Cake!

as always it was a fun night and even better since Beth was here!

Enjoy your day my blog friends!        Jody

  2. I love seeing those beautiful quilts. This reminds me of being the quilting bees my grandmother had at her house every Wednesday, and how I'd sit under there and listen to them talk. A sweet memory!

Thank you. Have a wonderful and blessed day.
