The Garden Store...

I decided the other day it was time to get my wash stands and such planted..
this is the latest i think for me! the plants were even 1/2 price and sense
Dawn is a friend and bought the store from my parents 8 years ago...
we " over the fenced " seedlings and a few others plants that were
past selling! i will be heading back today as i still have a bit to do...
Kennedy, Dawns daughter and also sister Janas son AJs girlfriend was working..
this is the sign from when mom/dad had the store, Dawn is still using the name.
Many years ago my grandmother (dads mom) had a yarn shop in the store
and taught many how to knit and had lots of yarn for sale along with patterns etc.
over the years the yarn shop has been changed to yard shop..

a few extra helpers around too!

Kennedy and her horse.

Enjoy your day my blog friends!

  1. We've had good luck with plants that we have set out late in the season. The next year, one cannot tell the difference. Enjoy your night with the cobblers! I know you will have some yummy food to let us know about!

  2. Last end of the season, I bought 2 potted hydrangeas and I thought for sure they had died but just in case I tucked them in the hedge to winter over and they are in full foliage and look really healthy. I still haven't made room for them. Always so much to do.

I'n\m sure your late specimens will grow with tender loving care.
    Hugs, JB

  3. This year's planting season was late in coming, so I don't think we are that late in planting. The good part is the plants on sale that will still have a good 3 months to grow and for us to enjoy.
