after the christmas rush..

and we are slowing down a bit...
the kittys are getting comfortable in the sunshine of the den window and i am putting some Christmas things away.. its been so cold here. like 0 degrees, not much snow tho like others are getting. i have a few pictures to share..

cobblestone-corner christmas...

the cobblers were here and once again it was food, fun and lots of laughter, oh and gifts!! here are some pictures from the night!

Carol P brought me this Tasha Tudor book!! never can have too many of these!

i had sister Janas name in our family drawing so bought this from Carol F for her.. 

Carol P and Jana exchanged gifts earlier and carol made Jana this rosary..   

Carol P also made this quilt for Jana, using mostly Kansas trouble fabric..

ok i can finally share! the cobblers tied these quilts for my girls the last of november. so i have been busy binding and prim stitching around the star. but... got them done!

This lil guy..

Is spending the day with g-ma as he isnt feeling well.. Soo im wAtching scooby-doo with him. Angie and him had kind of a rough night but she really needed to do end of the year stuff at work. They also had a little christmas party today so i sent sausage cups..easy, fun and yummy, cobbler carol ps recipe..




I fit a wonton wrap in each mini cupcake spot, bake 5-10 mn at 350 til start to brown




Then brown a lb of breakfast sausage (hot) add about 2 cups of shredded chz (i use handfuls) and about about 1 cup ranch( i just add til mixes well) dressing and put a bit in each wonton. Return and bake a bit til wontons are brown otherwise they are chewy.. Yum!

monday morning...

and the rush is on!..i have been looking for my Christmas journal, this kinda ugly journal with ducks on the front.( not that i don't like ducks ) that i have been keeping track of Christmas lists for like 15 or more years. i text-ed sister Jana on Saturday and told her i found it so can start Christmas shopping! i always order candy from our homemade candy shop here in town for marks family and a couple friends so i sent the list with dad to give George when he goes to get his newspaper. so i will pick that up tomorrow and hopefully get my mail stuff out too. its late but...better late than never right?
so any way her are a few random pictures to show you. and i hope your christmas preparations are going well. i am constantly telling my self its all about being together and remembering the reason for the season! especially with so much going on in our world and so hard to understand...
