We met while stationed in Japan, i think at a quilt class...many years ago now.
Carol had lots of quilt books/patterns for us to look thru! and take!
keeping a watchful eye on us! and trying to give us some hoops too!
she brought us each back a little something from her California trip!
Carol made Brownies! yum i had mine with today's coffee!
time to go home...

here is a picture of mom/dad, they had stopped out at sister Jana/Steves cabin for a visit!
Dads hanging in there, some days are better than others. he just had a surgery on Tuesday to put in a Dialysis Fistula for long time dialysis treatments. (less chance of infection) He did well! it will take 2-3 months of healing before they will be using this instead of his Port (Central Venous Catheter)
How I love that quilt now wonder she was excited. lucky friend great gift. Good luck to your dad my mom went through that no easy.
