Cobblers Got Together...

at sister Janas, as I had 3 quilts to tie! as always lots of fun, food and bonding!! Thanx sister!

 son Jason in town so crashed the party!
so we put him to work!
 we tied 2 of these, i made them for the 2 grandsons for Christmas.
they are made from my late husbands jeans and military fatigues.
im embellishing with buttons and a ribbon (with a photo connected and put in a pocket) from the pants also.


we also tied another big one but its a gift so cant show you yet...:)
Auntie Mary has been off of work for a few weeks and look what shes been doing!!
these are table runners/wall hangings to go in her booth at market near the lake this summer.



these are mission quilts to go to her church..
always amazes me on how much she gets done!!




we also celebrated Auntie Marys and Joyces birthdays! happy birthday!

 Carol made this box for Mary and found a pen that says Brat. that's how Auntie
signs things as her last name is Bratrud.




 Jason got out of most the tieing when Uncle Steve got home..
Jason/Jessica and baby Elizabeth are moving home!! starting his own
practice, about 40 minutes from here so Steve was helping him with business stuff!
Daughter Angela sent a picture for her show and tell!
she had just made a scarf!

Cobblers Annual Deer Quilt Day!

we got together at Cobbler Carol Ps house for the day, as the men and boys were out doing their thing! of course way to much food for 5 gals.... and lots of talk, laughs & projects!
we started out at our local quilt shop....




daughter Angela was working that day....
then on to Carols..
lots of food..
and fun stitchen, sewing, cutting, tracing and more....

 Carol was also working on this reverse applique project..

and later sent this picture on what she finished!

 Carol P was working on a bench for her sister!

Carols pup Bell was there to supervise...

Auntie Mary brought a quilt top she made for the grand kids to enjoy..

was working on and finished a mission quilt.
my son Jason was in town and stopped by...
this was later at my house with his daughter!
it was a great day!

The Cobblers were here for our....

October get-together!
As always....we had lots of good food!
Reuben Sandwiches, Broccoli cheese soup and more!
Auntie Mary made dessert for Joyce's Birthday
 sister Jana brought Apple Crisp..

 she sure uses our past Christmas gifts!
 and she is always busy at our get togethers!
Carol was busy showing us some dies for her Go Baby..
 and of course had some great wool applique show and tell!!


and she was also busy on another wool project! cant wait to see what shes making now!
 Carol P got a gift from Carol (she loves Orange..)

and was busy finishing up a project from a class her and sister took...
 lil owl coin purse!
auntie Pat brought a Crochet star and pattern!
We were to celebrate cobbler Joyce's Birthday, but she wasnt able to make it...
so i stopped over with the gifts and Auntie Marys dessert.
we missed you Joyce, love you and thinking about you...

Heidi, Jana Daughter in Law text us a show and tell she made in a class here at our local quilt shop!

we missed Cobblers Joyce and Beth but hope to all be together soon!
