Sister Jana and her husband Steve have had a very exciting last year... and they are finished and sharing with us all! they have built a new cabin in the exact place as our Grandparents cabin.. the land will always have lots of meaning and memories as our parents grew up out there.. and now Sister Jana and Steve's children and grandchildren will do the same! a great thing!
and sooo of course it was time for a Cobbler quilting weekend!!!!

Carol P brought a wall hanging that Jana made her for Christmas..
and we found time to work on our projects...
Jana was working on table runners.
I had a few projects to work on..
one was a quilt kit i had bought a while ago.
Carol P was binding quilts, finishing up another
and was also working on an applique project..
Auntie Mary working on a North Dakota Hockey Quilt to sell
this summer at the farmers market
she also helped bind one of Carols quilts,
while we settled in to watch a movie and chat about the day...

this chair is from Steve's side of the family
they had it reupholstered
this picture is up the steps in front of the loft bedroom,
the chair and stool was our grandparents.
the floor was salvaged from the old cabin that was also
our grandparents..
this is a large canvas picture of the old cabin that hangs in the stairways
it was given to Steve and Jana for Christmas by son and daughter in law..

we missed a few of the cobblers ( see you soon ) but it was a great weekend!
