Just checking in!


sister Jana called to see if i could run out and tie a couple quilts last minute!
Carol P had made a nice big quilt for her husband with different camping motifs,
and sister Jana had one she made for her newest grandbabe. it was a fun last minute get-together!

another last minute get together! sister Jana had a quilt to retie for a friend....
lots of stitching and was a beautiful quilt!
 a bit of show and tell.. Jana and Carol had taken a class here in town at our quilt shop
and made table runners.
 Janas Daughter in Law Heidi sent this picture of a soft book shes making for her Daughter..
 Jana had gotten this from a coworker.. thought it was cute.
my first curb side find of the fall.... love it and thought i could Dr. it up with table cloth and red pillows on the chairs maybe..
 our trees are turning colors fast this year.. beautiful!
update on the grandbabes!
grandbabe #1 on his first day of 4th grade.. actually this was after school
when i asked him if he learned anything...:)

Friends Matt and Katie had their 2nd babe! cant wait till we all get together! lots of babies in one room!! Congrats he is a cutie and his big sister sure loves him!!

again the cobblers got together!!

its was that time of the month again!! we started without Auntie Mary but she showed up!!
i made a greek salad with a lemon dressing and of course added to the salad...
also made chicken avocado pitas. Carol P brought the kabobs, auntie Pat the salad, Joyce the pickled beets and Carol the salmon dip!! always lots of food!




 Auntie Mary had brought us a do-dad to hold the spool with the thread!
and also a quilters fan!! she had been on a road trip!!



cousin Beth had been home over the 4th of July and gone to a quilt shop about 20 miles from here
and bought us each a magnet! thank you!!

we looked at new patterns that were brought...

sister Jana worked on some English piecing...

Carol P had some show and tell! shes working on some dish towels for her sister.

she also made herself a quilt like the one she made her grandbabe!

oh and she made a cute apron out of scrap strips!!

We celebrated Carol Ps Birthday!! she loves gifts!! so we always have fun with her!

Auntie Pat embroidered her a dish towel and made her a pot holder

Carol brought her a vintage platter! love it! Carol Ps favorite color is orange!

 i had some Mary Engelbreit on hand for her! she loves it!!

and sister Jana brought a Razzel/Dazzel yummy pie to celebrate Carols Birthday!!

The Cobblers!

we met at Carol Ps house this month! thank you Carol P we had great fun! food! and catch up time!
Carol made chicken salad croissants, veggie tray, munchies and more! i brought a buffalo chicken dip that was a hit! and Carol F is always bringing something good and fattening for dessert this month it was a no bake bar with chocolate in the middle!




oh did i mention, Carol P loves COLOR!?

Cousin Beth the California cobbler sent these cute burp cloths... thank you Beth!

Carol is the queen of beautiful wool projects!!?

Carols pup Belle kept us company...

Awesome Clouds...

My friend Mary sent me ANOTHER box and mama mouse was in it! it could be a
mama rat i guess but i have always thought mice were kinda cute so ...
Mary has always made some really cool things. thank you Mary! I love her!!


its hot out today so i am working on some soap. this one is Lime/Coconut..

a storm went around us last night.. we got the thunder, awesome clouds and a bit of rain.
