I FINISHED IT!!!

Cathedral Window
I started this quilt in 1994 ish
while we were stationed in Japan.
it was suppose to be a deco pillow, but
i wanted to make bigger.
its been a labor of love/hate..
and on the bottom of the pile
 of my unfinished projects..
a few months ago i decided it was time and
have been stitching on it at night after the
busyness of the day was over.

i needed to add more colored squares
son Jason and I had added some years ago,
thank goodness i had cut a bunch.
after looking high and low, over and under,
finely found them!

the last stitch!!

grand pup Koa is glad its done, but
more interested in the school bus he hears
stopping out front...

From Cobbler Carol,
"OMG 😱 You finished that incredible quilt. You must be relieved & very proud of it ...it is just stunning. 525 blocks with 44 stitches per block x 525 blocks that's 23,100 stitches‼️‼️‼️"

on to my next project!
Enjoy your winter days my blog friends!         Jody
