my childhood friend tim was in town as his mom passed away.. we have grown up together living only a few houses apart. we have continued to be a part of each others life and he calls me "yo". we had made plans for coffee on my porch, it was his birthday and i have wanted to make him a bread basket for so long, i got up early and made it, of course i also gave him a piece of ironstone and some soap too... we had a nice visit but cut short because of the news of angies friend.. his little "loralie" looks like kims millie, from millies mats. loralie was a tough little cookie trying to take on poor old sally girl but she didnt mind the kittys at all...
so grandbabe #1 has had his first loose tooth and his day care mom was threatening to pull it out the next day. well, dad stopped by and started teasing and out it came! so now he doesn't have a loose tooth any more and i swear he grew up even more over night!
thank you for all your kind words, thoughts and prayers,
enjoy your day! jody
nothing like a good friend in the hard times, or a kiddos gap tooth smile!
ReplyDeleteJody,
ReplyDeleteI just love their smile when they lose one or both of those front teeth! So precious!
Glad you enjoyed a nice visit with your childhood friend! Those friends are special indeed!
Blessings,
Tammy

Jody,
ReplyDeleteIt's wonderful you have a good friend from childhood! It's hard to keep those relationships going and strong! Lovely basket...... I am in awe of all the things you can do!
Sweetie pie with the toothless smile... doesn't get any better than that!
Hugs!

Still sending thoughts and prayers your direction.

Those kinds of long term friendships are the best. It's nice you got to spend some time together. Little Loralie is a cutie.
