Cobblers Again!

the cobblers met for supper at the lake again!

then on to Auntie Marys!

i never tire of this drive.. 

ready for our pontoon ride! 

it was beautiful and maybe our last 

cobbler pontoon ride for the season..

Carol P brought her loon books

reading us a little about the birds she loves! 

time for Carol Ps Birthday Dessert!

she had requested a Razel Dazel Pie

and Auntie Mary had it all ready.

as usual it was the best! 

then time for show & tell..

auntie Pat brought some jean quilt blocks

 shes working on.

(shes having a hard time finding colored 

jeans by the yardage. 

if anyone knows of a place we can look plz chime in!

 i've looked at Joann fabrics, etsy, ebay and googled!)

sister Jana showed us the t-shirt quilt 

shes making for her son.

Carol P showed us a pattern

 shes been looking for and found.

i showed my latest basket

Carol showed us the saran wrap way of 

tracing a pattern on to wool.

and sister Jana brought some of her husbands

jerky he makes for Dennis's snack in the beet truck! 

Carol and friends took a welding class! 

she brought her finished project to show us! 

Joyce brought us all fresh produce! 

then it was time for presents for

 the Birthday Girl! 

all kinds of fun stuff! 

the night went too fast.... 

we as always it was great friends, food and fun!

Market Catch Up..

its been a great Saturday market season! 

i'm thinking this Saturday will be my last for the year.

i wasn't sure i would do it next but find myself

already making plans for next summer...

it was our big vendor appreciation day this past Saturday.

Auntie Mary ends her 2 years as president!

she was so busy getting everything/everyone

 ready for the big day!

thank you Auntie for all you did to make 

the farmers market as great as it is!

there were 3 give aways! 

the market bought a basket from me for one giveaway

then all the vendors contributed!

this man was with his daughter and had the winning # 

for my gathering basket filled with goodies!

my helper! couldnt do it without you Dennis!

thank you so much! 

we love it when we have company!

mom and dad ventured out a couple saturdays to visit! 

mom, cobbler Carol (sells her wonderful wool work)

and my cousin Todd (skateboard designer and more!)

road trip, sale/lake day..

we went to a sale at the old Pravilian on Maple Lake. our mothers remember roller skating there! i need to show mom these pictures! lots of memories.

i remember going to local concerts 

and hanging out here as a teen..

it was fun to be here and remember the days!

Cobbler Carol came and found Dennis! 

funny! read the sign.. 

then we decided to stop at sister Janas cabin and

get our feet wet!

we spotted some turtles basking in the sun

but i didnt get a good picture.. 

we yelled hello to uncle Doodles and Auntie Mary!

it was a beautiful morning, hated to leave for town..

but Auntie invited us back out for 

a boat ride so.. we'll be back!
