Friday morning and the s word...

we are expecting up to 3 inches of snow tonight.. but the good thing is it wont last long! there is light at the end of the tunnel... may and june are coming!! and that means SALES!! cindy and i cant wait to get some new/old items for the shop! i did stop at a thrift shop and thought id share my goodies! i spent 14.50. some im keeping some im not!

 
grandbabe or doggie, reversable quilt (brush cottons) and kitty quilt! 
baskets perfect to plant up and hang on the fence!!
 
can you guess what im keeping? i can see all the ideas for the cool bread board!
cute lil punch project or... stacked with the others! 

 
daughter angie loves owls so i sent her this picture right away!
she actually thought it was " unique"!  i love things made in this erra out of lucite...

    Jody, I love the little doilies, the colors are very different and appealing. The baskets are wonderful too, and the little board! Hope you sell all you intend to! The only thing I found at the thrift today was a couple of tee shirts for my husband to wear out in the yard to work in. Hope you have a great weekend! God Bless!

    Snow? Bless your hearts! It's supposed to be 70 here tomorrow and the rain is gone! I'm looking forward to it! Hopefully you'll see spring soon!

    oh we are going into the teens tonight and they said we just missed a snow event. I am so in need of a really warm day. today was the 40's the college kids were in shorts. god bless their hot blooded selfs I would still freeze.

    Great finds. Love the white purse. Mom had an owl and a mushroom collection in the 70s and 80s. I think they're all packed away now. I hope you didn't get the snow!!! We're finally seeing sunshine and the daffodils are just about ready to open.

    OH MY GOSH--I love the crocheted pot holders!!!

    Anyway--a few years ago we had 5 inches of snow on April 20th--i gotta dig out that picture--but we sure have needed a "normal" winter so we will have lots of moisture for the Lilac and other flowering bushes to look their best this year. It's all good!
