Weekend Gathering At sister Janas cabin!
getting my projects together!
of course lots of snacks!
we all got right to playing!
Auntie Mary was working on a wedding gift!
Joyce was planning a project!
Carol was stitching on a wool table-runner!
Joette (Janas lake neighbor)
was working on scrubbies!
i was rug hooking!
sister Jana was working on a quilt for her grandbabe!
we had a huge spread of taco salad
& loaded baked potatoes for supper! thank you sister!
my favorites!
we kept busy through the evening!
sister Janas a pro at making a fire!
(there is a nac to it!)
i wanted to make cording to use around
punch needle projects.
it took 5 of us to figure it out,
but we did it!
sister Jana had more than enough for 1 quilt
so was making another!
i finished a punch project,
now to tweak it!
and there was more hooking to do!
Breakfast the next morning from Joyce! Yum!
we got right back to playing!
sister Jana started a new quilt!
Daughter Angela couldnt come out but kept
busy between kids..
grandpup Koa checking out her progress!
Joyce busy crocheting!
Auntie Mary was still busy with her quilt!
i had gotten some done on my hooking!
wish id of paid more attention to the wool but will
probably leave it the way it is.. now to fill it in.
im going to square it off and make a
wall hanging and hang from a branch for in my porch.
Carol said shed like it so will put her name on the back!
for someday!
sister Jana opened some
hostess gifts!
Auntie Pat, Daughter Karen and Cobbler Beth came!
Carol made soup, garlic bread and salad for lunch!
Karen and Beth brought a huge Birthday cake
for Auntie Pats Birthday!
Then Carol had show & tell!
she said it had been a long winter!
so made use of her new studio they added last fall!
she does AMAZING wool work!
the Green Mat is reverse applique!
it was so much fun, friends and food!
but time for me to leave...
i just text to see how the cobblers at the lake were doing!
and they are still being productive!
Mary and Jana both finished their quilts!!
and still planning more!

What a way to finish off the month of March. So many beautiful projects being worked on and so many finished projects. You have an amazing group of special people and I hope that you continue for a long, long time. You girls are having so much fun. I love Sister spacious home by the lake. What a perfect tranquil place for the Cobblers to gather on the weekend and play. I hope that your snow is melting like our. I'm finally seeing some flattened grass in places in my front yard. We still have a lots of snow to go.
