a night at the lake

i took a break from listing on ebay..
 and spent the night at the lake with sister Jana!
here i come sister!


when i got there mom/dad,
auntie mary/doodles and sister were bonding! 


jana has expectations of sewing! 

safe travels home mom and dad! 

love you guys! 
enjoy the scenery! 
maybe you will see the deer with her babes
on the way home too! 

we went to check on the lil bunk house in the woods
behind the cabin.
at one time this was the bathroom area of 
our grandparents cabin.
so glad you salvaged & re-purposed 
sister jana and steve! 


pizza and salad for supper..

time to move inside
we watched a movie, 
"nights in rodanthe"
i had not seen it. 
then reruns of blue bloods and some stitching!


it was just beautiful!

after our 3+ mile walk.. 


then it was time to head back to reality... 






made it through the lake road.. 
sad to leave its such a 
beautiful drive..

our neighbors at market who sell Honey have some 
of their hives along the road home..wow!
and their honey is wonderful!

3 noisy sand-hill cranes! 

this county church is beautiful
especially at night the top is all lit up. 

i made it home!

Jana and Mary took a sewing class
on making a pouch last night!




they turned out great guys!! 

yesterday was a good day!

  4. We are up in northern minnesota.90 miles from the Canadian border. Crookston Minnesota. It's an early fall here by a good 2 weeks, I sure hope we don't get an early winter tho..thank you for stopping by!!

    Thanks for showing us the finished pouches. The mix color zippers is very creative. The pouches are beautiful.
